Thanks to Rep Kim Norton (Rochester) and Sen. Sharon Erickson-Ropes (Winona), and our advocacy team, the Parent Involvement Policy bill is moving forward in the Minnesota State Legislature. It had strong bipartisan support in all committees. |

Parent and Family Involvement Policy Bill HF 990 will be heard at 2:15 PM this Thursday, March 22nd by the House K-12 Education Finance Committee in room 15 at State Office Building. |

Minnesota PTA is working hard to get a parent involvement bill passed in the Minnesota legislature this year. Rep. Norton and Greiling, and Senate authors Erickson Ropes; Saltzman; Torres Ray; Jungbauer; and Gerlach, have introduced a parent involvement bill based on PTA’s parent involvement standards.
