Strengthen Your Partnership

 Partnerships, teamwork and cooperation are the building blocks of leadership in education. Effective partnership requires understanding the responsibilities and the roles of each participant. Family engagement becomes a reality when there is strong support and leadership from the Principal, and when teachers and staff build effective partnerships with families to strengthen their participation in the school community. 

To help navigate this partnership between PTA, Principals, and the School, Minnesota PTA has put together a document for our local units to share with the leaders at their school. It outlines the purpose, mission, and vision of PTAs, as well as what PTAs 'are' and 'are not'.
