The whole purpose of having a PTA membership is what you want to focus on when encouraging others to join. Express the importance and value your PTA brings to your local community.
Why is being a member important?
Lets talk about the facts of Membership:
PTA has been a membership organization since it's begining and cannot function without the support of it's members.
Paid members have a representive voice at the Minnesota Capitol and Nationally when ciritcal legislation moves forward.
Membership helps meet some of the basic costs of doing business, as well as maintaining the nonprofit status, & support costs for the organization's growth.
PTA provides cirtical services, and programming, and membership helps sustain the quality of these activities.
PTA grants, resources, tools, training, and awards all cost funds to develop, and membership dues help bring those services from the national level to your local PTA.
