Did you know that PTA members of your local unit have rights? Each person that becomes a member of your local PTA  must be reported to Minnesota PTA so they can be identified as having rights to vote at your local PTA, and attend as a delegate, if they choose, at the Minnesota PTA and National PTA conventions. Rights for members are outlined in the Universal Bylaws & Mn Statutes.

Membership also comes with the expectations that members agree to support the Mission and Values of PTA. It's important that members understand what the purpose of membership is for, to speak for every child with one voice. 

Benefits are available to members through Minnesota PTA and National PTA, which can be redeemed with their PTA membership card supplied through the Givebacks portal. Members can download their card from their profile, or will receive a card via email when purchasing their membership through your Givebacks Store.
